CourtSide Pro Terms of Use
These terms apply to the CourtSide Pro app and website. By creating an account or using CourtSide Pro, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the iOS app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; where the two conflict, these terms govern to the extent allowed.
Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up. CourtSide Pro is for coaches, team staff and parents or guardians. Players under 18 cannot have their own account; a coach, staff member or parent enters player information. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data. Keep your sign-in secure and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Team information
Only enter information about players and other people that you have the right to share with your team, such as with the permission of the player's parent or guardian. Team owners and admins control who joins their team and what role each member has.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users
Team chat and the Media Room are for team communication. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You must not post content that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or demeans anyone, including players and families;
- is sexual, sexually suggestive involving minors in any way, violent, hateful or discriminatory;
- shares someone's private information without permission;
- is spam, illegal, or infringes someone else's rights.
Chat messages, team updates and media captions are checked against a filter for objectionable language, and a post that fails it isn't shared. Anyone can report content or block a user from within the app. Team coaches and admins review reports and can remove content; a report about a coach's or admin's own post comes to us instead of to them. We review reports sent to us and act within 24 hours, which can include removing content and removing the user who posted it from the team or from CourtSide Pro. AI features
AI-generated summaries and suggestions can be wrong. Check them against your own records before relying on them. Some AI features send team data to Google Gemini with your permission, as described in the Privacy Policy.
CourtSide Plus subscriptions
CourtSide Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly, that adds unlimited cloud AI requests (subject to a fair-use limit shown in the app, currently 200 a day) and additional report types and designs. Everything else in CourtSide Pro remains available without it.
New subscribers may be offered a free trial. The length of the trial and the price charged after it are shown before you confirm. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the plan you chose begins and you are charged. Each Apple ID can use the free trial once.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel it in your device's Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Purchases, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.
A subscription belongs to the CourtSide Pro account that bought it. Restoring purchases while signed in to a different account moves it to that account.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store, display and process it only to provide CourtSide Pro to you and your team.
Ending use
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
CourtSide Pro is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use CourtSide Pro means you accept the updated terms.
